Daily tasks include: scheduling and monitoring backups, performing problem determination on failed backups, reporting monthly measurements and managing storage capacity, making recommendations to improve environment, propose solutions to issues in a planned timeline, maintaining current documentation, attending scheduled meetings, and disk management (ie: extending file-systems, storage on demand, etc.) <BR><BR> <BR><BR>Required Skill: <BR><BR>Experience/working knowledge of IBM 3583 libraries<BR><BR>Experience/working knowledge of IBM 3584 tape libraries<BR><BR>Experience/working knowledge of STK libraries <BR><BR>Experience/working knowledge of ACSLS software<BR><BR>Experience/working knowledge of EMC CDL device configuration and operation<BR><BR>Experience installing configuring and managing TSM server, client and data protection agent software<BR><BR>Experience installing configuring and managing Netbackup server and client<BR><BR>Experience with Arcserve <BR><BR>Experience with LANFREE TSM configuration <BR><BR>Experience with EMC Avamar product <BR><BR>Knowledge of Tape Area Network operation/configuration<BR><BR>24/7 shift coverage<BR><BR>Experience in UNIX and Windows Operating System<BR><BR>Experience with Data Migration<BR><BR>Experience with multisite data replication<BR><BR>Ability to troubleshoot issues independently<BR><BR>Ability to perform in a stressful environment<BR><BR>Experience in a remote environment<BR><BR>Previous backup & recovery administration in a diverse environment<BR><BR>Coverage may include 24/7 pager support<BR><BR>Must be able to start by 8:00am CT or before<BR><BR> <BR><BR>Special Skill requirements<BR><BR> <BR><BR>TSM and/or Netbackup<BR><BR>TAKE ACTION!<BR>Why wait another day?<BR>It is time to act!<BR>Apply NOW and join the CDI Team TODAY!<BR><BR> Experience:<BR><BR> <BR><BR><BR><BR>WS2 SYS MGT SPEC AIX/SXM<BR>df-lj More...
