<BR>Job Description:<BR><BR> WHY WAIT?<BR>Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity?<BR>This may be your lucky day!<BR>It is time for a change, and CDI can help!<BR><BR>We have an immediate need for a MVS Systems Programmer<BR><BR>JOB DESCRIPTION<BR>Project Description & Tasks<BR>- Provide support on account for MVS responsibilities: <BR>- Provide support for the MVS operating system. <BR>- Install and maintain MVS operating system and associated components, such as JES2, DFSMS/MVS, ISPF, SDSF, VTAM, etc. <BR>- Install and maintain ISV system products on the MVS mainframe<BR><BR>- Implement projects to customize operating system software to support the customer. <BR>- Provide programming support for the customer MVS exits and in-house written system programs. <BR>- Provide technical support to the customer Application Development organization. <BR>- Provide technical support to Data Center Operations<BR>- Coordinate hardware and software installations in the customer Data Centers. <BR>- Provide technical justifications for hardware and software upgrades<BR>- Work closely with hardware and software vendors regarding problem resolution and regarding new products and services. <BR>- Provide management reports regarding the MVS systems as necessary. <BR>- Provide 24 hour technical support for the customer MVS systems in Dubuque, IA <BR><BR>Special Skill Requirements<BR>- Specific knowledge of MVS internals. <BR>- Specific knowledge of MVS-related products such as JES2, ACF2, VTAM, SYNCSORT, TSO, etc. <BR>- General knowledge of all software/hardware components of the customer MVS systems. <BR>- Ability to understand technical direction<BR>- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations<BR>- Minimum five years experience in MVS systems programming. <BR>- Bachelors degree with significant coursework in Computer Science or the equivalent in experience. <BR>- Demonstrated expertise in written and oral communication skills.<BR><BR><BR><BR>TAKE ACTION!<BR>Why wait another day?<BR>It is time to act!<BR>Apply NOW and join the CDI Team TODAY!<BR><BR> Experience:<BR><BR> <BR><BR><BR><BR>MVS Systems Programmer - NEEDED NOW!<BR>df-lj More...
